Deutsche Bank London HQ
Architect - WilkinsonEyre
Lighting Designer - MBLD
21 Moorfields, a complex over-station development designed by WilkinsonEyre for Land Securities as the UK headquarters for Deutsche Bank in the city of London.
Suspended above a complex train interchange using a unique steel bridging structure, in a single column-free span without disrupting daily railway operations.
Wilkinson Eyre envisioned the building’s challenging engineering, expressed through exposed steelwork, as its central motif, with the structure floating above the station on a dramatic tripod and separated by a public plaza.
DAL provided an adjustable indirect Coveline led system for highlighting the steel supporting beams . Ambiance downlighting in combination of Coveline led uplighting are also used within the offices / toilet cores.
This project also won the 2025 City of London Building of the Year Awards.
